We are the Friends Nature Store, a permanent fundraising endeavor of the Friends of Kauai Wildlife Refuges (FKWR), a non-profit dedicated to the vision and mission of the Kauai National Wildlife Refuges including Kilauea Point, Hanalei and Huleia National Wilidlife Refuges.
Since 1983, FKWR via our Nature Store at Kilauea Point has offered unique mission inspired items while serving in a visitor center capacity. The efforts of our store have contributed thousands and thousands of dollars in direct aid and other support to our refuges.
Many of our items are custom-made and created by experts who love to share their knowledge and passion for these exceptional refuges. When you shop at any one of our stores, whether here online, at the Visitor Center at Kilauea Point NWR, or one of our pop-up events, every purchase benefits the environmental conservation, habitat restoration and education programs of our local refuges.
