The Hihimanu (Manta Ray). One of the largest sea creatures weighing up to 3000 pounds. Two kinds of manta ray species exist in Hawaiian waters. The reef manta ray and the ocean manta ray. They have a wingspan of up to 20 feet. They are cartileigeous and are closely related to sharks.
